Licensed Midwives/Certified Professional Midwives Shelly Girard and Seannie Gibson offer homebirth midwifery services, well-woman gynecology, preconception counseling, extended postpartum care, advanced doula services, breast feeding education and support, and American Red Cross CPR training to families in the Greater Los Angeles area. They have a deep and abiding belief in both the ability and the right of women to give birth naturally and safely at home.

Seannie and Shelly offer highly personalized, family centered care that acknowledges the mind/body connection by treating the whole being: the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual self. They are licensed by the California State Medical Board and Accredited by the North American Registry of Midwives. In practice since 1972, they are the most experienced homebirth-only midwives in Los Angeles.
